Sunday 26th November is ‘Stir up Sunday’ when our hearts are stirred to support charitable works. Traditionally, it is also when families stir the Christmas pudding.
Miranda Gore Brown brought her version of Mrs Dixon’s cake to The Arthur Ransome Society pirate feast at Cobnor Point this year, along with her book Bake Me A Cake As Fast As You Can, which has ideas on how to ice Christmas cakes. She has more ideas for Christmas baking here.
