Swallow’s special appearance at the Kendal Torchlight Procession

Swallow, the famous dinghy from the original “Swallows and Amazons” movie, made a special appearance at the Kendal Torchlight Procession yesterday (14th September).

Rob Boden of Sailing Swallow, reporting to the Arthur Ransome Facebook Group, said “Great evening taking Swallow to about 30,000 people at the Kendal Torchlight procession. I was amazed at the high level of recognition of Swallow, and of “Swallows and Amazons”. I used LED strips to bring some life to what was effectively a tableau. Really enjoyed it!”
