More photos of Swallow in the Kendal Torchlight Procession

Swallow, the restored dinghy from the original “Swallows and Amazons” movie, made a special appearance in the annual Kendal Torchlight Procession on Friday (14th September).

The theme this year was ‘books and authors’, so Sail Ransome’s Rob Boden entered Swallow at the last minute, creating a tableau with LED lights, for parading in front of 30,000 people.

Rob said “I got a lot of appreciative comments and was amazed at the high level of recognition of Swallow and of “Swallows and Amazons”. An interesting and enjoyable new venture for Sail Ransome!”
