The 45th Anniversary of the Original Swallows and Amazons Film
Today, 4th April 2019, is the 45th Anniversary of the release of the original “Swallows and Amazons” film in cinemas.
To mark the occasion, Sophie Neville (who played Titty Walker in the film and is President of the Arthur Ransome Society) has posted an original cinema poster advertising the World Gala Charity Matinee of “Swallows and Amazons” at the ABC1 cinema in Shaftesbury Avenue, London:
